Founder of English Expertise, a network of mother-tongue teachers and trainers with international experience in meeting the English business needs of professionals.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, resident in Italy since 1994.

EXPERIENCE



IN ITALY

Teaching - English for Law, Payroll Administration, Secretaries and exam preparation.
Coaching of university students for defending their thesi in English.
Training: working with other trainers in the preparation and leading of various workshops such as: assertiveness, professional development, communication skills, cultural awareness, effective presentations, resume preparation and interview skills, and setting objectives.


IN CANADA

C.M. Whittaker and Associates

Developed and lead training courses on application software both in-house and for clients. Managed "hot-line” after sales support for resolving customer problems with software.

RENAUD-FOSTER & ASSOCIATES

Organized the transfer and set up of company historical records from paper to computer database format, participated in the selection of managers to be hired as per client requests.

CANADIAN MARCONI COMPANY (CMC)

Within the Technical Publications department, managing a production team in the creation of internal and client required documentation. Designed and conducted in-house software training courses for managers, engineers and secretaries.

After the introduction of the Continuous Improvement process, became a trainer and coach for the Avionics Division, preparing and leading training sessions on the principles of CIP: running effective meetings, brainstorming and presentations.
